In order to successfully market your online business with search engines you first have to understand how they work, search engines primary purpose is to provide useful information to users doing searches.
Search engines such as Google and Yahoo want to give a user the most relevant result when he/she types in the words refinancing an investment property. The Search engines want the 1st result on the 1st page to educate the searcher about refinancing an investment property.
You have to understand that the reason Google is so successful is because their customers (people doing searches) are very happy and continue to come back for more now that you understand this principle I am going to talk about how to market your online business using search engines.
The next question you should be asking is how do I get my website on the first page of Google?. your first step would be to gather your content; content is the relevant information users will be searching for in your market. they could be articles, reports, videos, audio files etc.
The idea is to deliver your content to Google so that they can in turn deliver it to your customers in the form of results from searches. You can either put all your content into a website you create or you can distribute it to other sites that Google already trust. This would be the much faster way This is known as article marketing.
Another way to use the search engines to market your business is by using pay per click. In this instance you are paying Google to have your ad show up on the right side of searches where users can click on them. You only pay when someone clicks on your ad, what you pay per click depends on how many other people are bidding on the same keyword that triggers your ad.
Today I got a call from one of my friends asking if I would be able to develop his new E-commerce site by the end of this year (it is October 28). My answer was no as I have to many projects lined-up and being serious about my web development business I have to be loyal to my customers. well, next question was would you be able to recommend somebody to it?. For sure there’s a lot of excellent industry people (Vancouver, BC, Canada), but honestly it is very hard to find the right contractor, especially if price is a factor and usually BIG Boys are very busy or simply crazy expensive. Being asked that question I just thought about writing short article about Finding right web development company, so here there is few tips I would check before building my new site, especially E-commerce as quality traffic is a must.
- Seo expertise – it is very crucial so chosen web development company has seo experience as you do not want to make mistakes and you want to make sure everything is done properly, non breaking any search engine guidelines yet having clean / crawlable design structure. most of companies these days advertise doing seo and web development, how do I check if they actually do have this knowledge? the simplest way is by checking their homepage meta tag and try finding those keywords using Google. if they do not come up among top results that means this is not the company you have been looking for.
- Content is the king – we all know that content is the thing that rules on the web today, having said that make sure your company will include content development in their proposal or will simply tutor you how you should write for the web yourself
- Previous customers – browse through company’s portfolio and actually check if their previous projects do rank in search engines, make a contact with them and ask if they are happy how their website works
- Avoid flash – this one is old but keep in mind that flash designed websites are simply not search engine friendly. Never create splash page having only animated graphics as this will prevent your website from proper indexing
I hope you’ll find this article handy when looking for your next web development project.

Imagine the kind of impact your business could have if you had an unlimited budget for marketing. Unfortunately, most businesses are limited on what they can spend, particularly when it comes to online marketing and search engine optimization (SEO). but with a little creativity and smart planning, business owners can make the most of what resources they have while making a major impact on the Internet through SEO.
Have a Strategy
Without strong SEO, a website might not be found by potential clients. when people are seeking information, search engines like Google, Bing and Yahoo are among the first places they visit. Statistics have shown that 85 percent of website visitors come through search, with most individuals not looking past the first page of results. Without strong SEO, a website might not appear in the first few listings with the business ultimately missing out on valuable clients.
Another place where you can lose visitors is by not having a strong website. Your website strategy should focus on attracting visitors through search and then keeping them on your site by providing the kind of information visitors were seeking.
When someone visits your website, what do you think will stand out to them? What parts do you think they might skip over or don’t provide as much value? Take time to analyze your website and the competition. come up with a strategy for what areas can improve to help attract and keep visitors.
Google’s Webmaster Tools can help with your strategy by providing insight into what pages have the most visitors, what search queries bring traffic to your site and where your users come from. the free software also helps identify issues with website malware, broken links and duplicate tags.
Create a timetable and set goals you would like to reach as a result of your SEO and other marketing efforts. Would you like to attract more patients or get more people signing up for a certain type of service? Would you like to reach a certain group of people? Document your goals and evaluate your progress, making adjustments as needed.
Pick Strong Keywords
One of the keys to drawing the right kind of visitors to your site is smart keyword usage throughout your content. think about what kinds of terms people might use when searching for your business and use those words throughout your writing. Use Google AdWords to help gain an idea of what kinds of searches people are doing.
Using long tail keywords in your content is one way to draw a more targeted audience. Long tail keywords are longer search terms using certain keywords that when combined are less common. for example, instead of focusing on the keyword “dentist,” you could concentrate on “cosmetic dentistry in San Diego” and get more targeted results with patients looking for a specific type of service.
Focus on Content
Strong content is the most valuable commodity your website has to offer. to save money some of this content could be created in house, while having an SEO agency focus on the technical side of things. Include articles, blogs and patient testimonials to help drive visitors to the website.
People want to find information as quickly as possible when visiting a website. Breaking apart the text and making it more scannable will also keep visitors on your site. Use bullet points, headers, bolded text, short paragraphs and articles.
The search engines are not just seeking written text; they are also looking for pictures, graphics, videos, audio files and more. the wider the variety of content you offer on your website, the better. not only will it appeal to your audience on different levels, but it will also help with search rankings.
Link building is another area that could be contributed to in house to help build your website’s presence in the search engines. Email business contacts to arrange a cross-promotion or combined press release. be sure to include links so both you and they receive credit from the search engines and readers.
Another alternative is posting content on various sites to attract customers. One of the best ways to do this is to look for guest blogging opportunities. most sites that accept guest posts will let the author include at least one link back to their website in exchange for the content. And the bigger the website the better. Search engines give more prominence to links from popular websites, news media sites and blogs.
Social media and SEO complement each other greatly. With social media being one of the most active parts of the online experience, it’s now making an impact on search rankings. People find new websites through search, but they also find them through social media.
Content creation and the links that come from social media sharing show the search engines that people are talking about and can help boost visibility. Likes, Tweets, Pins and Google +1s are all considered by the search engines.
Including “share this” options on your website that link to sites like Twitter, Facebook and Google+ is one way to encourage visitors to share content and make the material even more searchable. It can also help spur conversations with potential patients, expanding your network even further.
Getting to the top of the search results rarely happens overnight. the search engines are engineered to look for both stability and credibility when assigning a page ranking. It could take three to six months before search rankings and traffic increases.
Continuous effort with your website will pay off and have a powerful impact on search traffic and rankings. Don’t let a limited marketing budget keep you from achieving your SEO goals. Search rankings can be improved by being vigilant in your content, link building, keyword and social media strategies.

SEO, Search Engine Optimisation is a ‘buzzword’ right now. you know you need to know what it is for your website copy or blogging, but you’ve no idea where to start. this blog is your first lesson in simple SEO. We hope it helps you understand the basics. so no more padding with aimless chat, let’s get down to it!
Firstly keywords or meta keywords, as they’re known, should be researched first. what is it? what is a keyword? well a keyword is an important and relevant word or phrase pertaining to your subject of note for that particular page; on a website or blog. it is the word or phrase that you hope people would type into the search engines to find your business. Hopefully with you at position one so that you are the first person to be clicked on. To obtain position one, would take time, effort and money to achieve it for keywords that are popular, or highly searched for. The keyword or phrase should be used in your copy regularly, but not overly, to make your copy readable to both your audience and the search engine. So balance your keywords and phrases within your copy or mr. Google wont like it and base it as ‘key phrase stuffing’ and this will negatively impact your page position. Keywords and phrases are obviously about the same thing but the phrases are longer. The shorter the length of phrase the harder it’ll be to rank for in the search engines, this is because there will be more people trying to rank for that phrase too. so ideally you need to look at mid to long length phrases as your ‘key’ phrases. what you must remember is that your site’s page rank builds over time, you will have to adjust your keywords and phrases based on your site’s performance. you can check your site’s performance if you sign up for Google Analytics.
This is something that may sound daunting and you may find yourself on a steep learning curve, but we are still learning and we’ve been optimising for quite a while now, it constantly needs tweaking and when Google changes it’s algorithms, meaning Google looks at your site in a different way for ranking purposes, you have to then go back, look at your analytics and change your keywords and phrases accordingly. Never finish the page, it constantly needs to be updated, fresh and regular content in Google is good.
What is a meta description? The meta description is the ‘chunk’ of text that appears underneath the search phrase and relevant web page that a person has entered into their web browser and will then appear in the search results. The meta description should be enticing and match a search for your key phrase so that people know immediately that yours is the right site to click through. The Meta description or key description should be no more than 140 characters long, should contain your key phrase and a brief overview of the page.
Alt tags? what are alt tags? Alt tags by definition means ‘alternative text’ added to your picture so that the search engines can build up knowledge about the picture as it cannot see pictures, therefore this text is invaluable. Along with the alt tag, each picture should also have a description about the product, which contains your all important key phrase as well and lastly you need to make sure that each image filename is named correctly, as per the product, not IMG006 or DCM1001.

SEO is quite a new industry. But although it hasn’t been around for too long, it’s one of the fastest developing niches online. The reasons for this are obvious. No matter how you look at it Google, Yahoo, Bing and a handful of other search engines are the major source of online traffic. and it looks like the situation won’t radically change soon. This ties your website’s rankings on these search engines directly to your bottomline. love it or hate it SEO is here to stay and you can’t succeed without it.
Now let’s look at the ways you can improve your search engine rankings, increase website traffic and ensure long-term growth of your business based on effective SEO strategy. Here’re some DIY SEO tips that will help you get your website to the top of Google.
1. Keyword research or Picking The Right Keywords
It’s not just about ranking high on Google that’s important, but ranking high for the right keywords. Sure, you can get a top placement for any weird term you like, but unless people really search for it, there’s no use ranking high for that keyword. so it’s obvious that you need to pick the keywords that feature high search stats.
Although the traffic behind the keyword is important it’s not the only factor that matters. The cornerstone of effective keyword research is the right focus. you need to target the search terms and phrases that are closely related to your business, your products and your customers’ needs. If you get to rank high for broad terms you’ll get more clicks, but on the other hand ranking for long tail will bring you more conversions and will ultimately provide a higher ROI.
SEO Tools you can Use:
There are quite a number of keyword research tools (both free and paid) that will help you develop your keyword list, estimate the potential traffic and set the priorities. some of the best are Google AdWords External Keyword tool, Google Search Based Keyword Tool, Wordtracker, Keyword Discovery, Word Stream and Rank Tracker.
2. Optimize your Content
Content optimization is not as powerful as it used to be, but it’s still an important part of effective SEO. The single most important element on your webpage is the title. Optimizing the title is a very tricky task. On the one hand you need to put your targeted keywords so that they stand as close to the beginning as possible, and make up the biggest part of the word count. On the other hand you need to make your titles sound natural and appealing to the users so that they will click through to your page when it comes up in the search results. come up with a catchy and well optimized title and you’ll improve both your rankings and click-through rates.
SEO Tools you can Use:
There are not too many tools for content optimization out there, I for one recommend WebSite Auditor.
Link building is the heart and blood of your SEO. The link building theory is simple: get quality and relevant links to your website with keyword-rich anchor texts. The practical part is much more complicated: you need to be constantly on the look for quality websites in your niche that you can get a link from. here are some of the most popular and effective link building techniques:
- Directory submission- Article submissions- Social media- Blog commenting- Forum Posting- Competition Research
SEO Tools you can Use:
Link building is perhaps the most consuming SEO tasks and you’ll certainly need SEO software to speed up the process and boot your productivity. The best link building and link analysis tools you can use are SEO SpyGlass, Backlinkwatch, Webconfs SEO tools and LinkAssistant.
These are some of the proven SEO techniques that alone can improve your search engine rankings, increase your website traffic and get you to the top 10, 5 and finally 1 on Google for your most important keywords and search strings.
Are you missing an opportunity to fully understand and take advantage of the impact of local on search engine rankings? A new whitepaper from BrightEdge shares insights into how Yelp.com optimizes for local and highlights best practices for marketers.
Yelp is a local review site with more than 30 million user-generated reviews and active communities in 15 different countries. Their reviews range over a number of verticals, including restaurants, retail, hotels and travel, real estate, education, and more. in the second quarter of 2012, they averaged 78 million unique visitors per month.
BrightEdge recently looked into search results across the travel, retail, auto rentals and other verticals, across five major cities. at that time, they noticed a high variation in Google search results in different locations. Based on that result, they estimated that brands “could boost traffic and revenue by as much as 30% if they close the gaps in SEO performance by ranking at the same level as their top city on each keyword across all five cities.”
Yelp’s Local Challenges Universal for Marketers
Optimizing pages for different locations isn’t easy; the challenge begins when marketers try to get an accurate snapshot of their visibility across multiple locations. SEO technology may deliver keyword ranking data at the national level, or marketers may try to qualify search terms by using the name of specific cities in their queries.
These methods don’t tell the whole story, though. BrightEdge notes, “When we compared Google results page for the search term ‘burgers new york’ to the page people who are actually in new York see when searching with the term “burgers” we found stark differences in rank performance.”
Yelp’s challenges are unique given the sheer size of their website, the volume of reviews and other pages they have to optimize, and the fact that they rely on ranking locally by their very nature.
Local Search Tips
Based on Yelp’s SEO campaign, BrightEdge gleaned the following local search marketing best practices:
- Use software that allows you to monitor rankings across multiple locations and compare local and national results. you can try to work around this visibility problem on your own, but it’s time consuming, inaccurate, and not scalable.
- Identify gaps and prioritize opportunities to improve your SEO across locations. Focus on cities with lower performance and identify keyword opportunities to maximize your efforts.
- Identify and correct landing page misalignments. These are situations where the highest ranking page in one location is targeting another location, which can be frustrating to users who click through to information that doesn’t match their needs.
- Understand how origin locations (where in the world people are searching from) affect the SEO performance of your popular pages.
- Once you understand where your pages show up locally, drill down into off and on-page SEO factors in each location to optimize for that geo.
- Register local businesses with search engines; fill out the online form for that engine and complete the confirmation by mail.
- Use online local communities like Yelp and Google+ to claim your business listing. go deeper, into smaller local portals and community sites. Wherever possible, add photos, business hours, and other information to fill out the profile.
- Create local-specific landing pages to optimize for searchers in that location or searching with that location name in their query. BrightEdge recommends that “each page should be tailored with content that is specific to that location and that content should be compelling and refreshed regularly.”
Local and mobile advertising is projected to reach $24 billion in 2016. Clearly, the opportunity is huge for those who are able to overcome the challenges and discover areas of weakness to improve upon.
“Increasingly we are hearing that our customers need more robust and scalable local search insights,” said Jim Yu, CEO of BrightEdge. “we are thrilled to be able to work with Yelp, a leader in local services for both consumers and business, to share insights about best practices for local search.”

CHESAPEAKE, Va., Aug. 2, 2012 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ –Elite One Cinema recently celebrated its launch in the Virginia, DC, and Maryland markets. a collaboration between Blue Diamond Studio and Greg B Studios, Elite One Cinema offers a different kind of luxury videography service. There are a number of venues capable of producing a basic recording of a special day, but Elite One Cinema’s product offers something additional. they refer to their product as a Short Form Wedding Film, a 20-25 minute production that tells the story of the day rather than simply showing disconnected video.
In addition to wedding videography, Elite One Cinema offers a same-day edit. This speedy editing process allows Elite One to show a cleaned-up version of the actual ceremony at the reception before being released to the client afterward. having the fast edit allows everyone to relive the day as it’s happening while also receiving something more polished later if they desire.
although Elite One Cinema is new to the area, the two companies that collaborated to form it are not. Blue Diamond Studio has long been a presence, especially around Virginia Beach, a popular mid-Atlantic wedding destination. Greg B Studios is run by Greg Boyd, a well-known wedding videographer who has worked throughout the east coast. Both have many years of experience with photography and videography.
to help spread the word about the new service, Elite One Cinema has turned to Atlantic SEO, a division of Customer Magnetism. Specializing in local SEO marketing and small business internet marketing, Atlantic SEO helps businesses across the country.
About Elite One Cinema: Founded by two veteran videographers, Elite One Cinema ( eliteonecinema.com/ ) emphasizes capturing the spirit of an event, telling the story of an important day rather than simply showing a video. Today we’re delighted to share with you our most recent chat with Brian Massey, “the Conversion Scientist.”
Brian has been busy since last year’s interview – namely, he has written a new book that is soon to be released: Your Customer Creation Equation: Unexpected Website Formulas of the Conversion Scientist.
Here’s what Brian has to say about the book, the inspiration behind it, as well as where SEO and search fit into the customer creation/conversion scheme of things…
So you have a new book coming out soon: “Your Customer Creation Equation: Unexpected Website Formulas of the Conversion Scientist.” Would you describe for us what it is about?
The book takes the reader through the same “sermon” I’ve given over and over again to my clients. there are about three things that you should be doing to grow your online business.
What those three things are depends on what kind of site you should be running: a Brochure, Publication, Online Store, Consultative Site, or Online Service.
I help you pick a site formula, define the strategies that will make you successful, and then give you some best practices on how to implement those strategies.
What more could you ask from a quick read like this book?
What inspired you to write it?
For most of 2011, I spent my Fridays on the phone with businesses of all sizes from all industries offering free advice to help them improve their online business. many of these became clients. almost all of them left with a fresh and exciting view of their Website.
After explaining the basics of conversion over 100 times, I thought it might be helpful to write it down in a tell-all book. I’ve gotten too busy to spend my Fridays with businesses in this way, unfortunately.
This was the genesis of “Your Customer Creation Equation.” the message is familiar to anyone who was on one of those calls with me: Your Website is a service, not a brochure.
You can “listen” to your visitors through your site and stop guessing about how to invest online. Your online business must be growing or your business will atrophy.
Most of those I spent my Fridays with were the managers and business owners, not always practitioners. This book is really written for the person who needs to be sure their Web team is doing things right… right for the business.
Without being a spoiler, what would you say is the primary message of the book?
I believe in sharing everything, so I’m not worried about spoilers. the main message of the book is “Watch your online customers as closely as you watch those coming into your store.” while we can’t “see” our customers online, we actually can see their behaviors much better than in a brick-and-mortar setting.
As a business owner or marketing manager, you must get comfortable with the tools that tell you how to manage your online business. otherwise, your competition will take your online customer.
In most industries, the business that doesn’t master their online formula will wither and die.
Who should read it? did you have a specific audience in mind?
I wrote the book for anyone managing the creation and maintenance of a business website: marketers, business owners and consultants.
Chapter 12 of the book is “Advanced Curriculum in Visitor Studies”, which tells you how to create personas of your ideal visitors.
As it turns out, I have four personas for the book:
The book was written for Darryl, the owner of a $12 million insurance broker. He’s savvy enough to know his business will die if he doesn’t win online.
It was written for Charlene, the marketing communications person at a major technology company. she needs a formula to help focus the company’s shotgun marketing approach and add some measurability.
It was written for Herman, the account manager at a mid-sized SEO firm who needs his customers to understand how to capitalize on the traffic his company sends them.
It was written for Javid who runs an apparel ecommerce site. He needs to differentiate himself from larger, better-funded competitors with significant brand awareness. He knows he needs to learn faster than them and acquire customers cheaper.
If you relate to one of these personas, I recommend becoming a “Friend of the Author” for free chapters and bonus material: CustomerCreationEquation.
Where do you see SEO & search fitting into the customer creation/conversion equation?
Your website conversion rate is a fraction. it is the number of new customers or prospects divided by the total number of visitors. Clearly, if you have a lot of visitors coming who don’t become customers or prospects, your conversion rate (and your business) will suffer.
Search and SEO are critical, as they tend to bring visitors who are trying to solve a problem. This is highly qualified traffic as opposed to the crappy traffic you get from StumbleUpon, for example. my conversion rate plunges every time one of my stories gets stumbled.
SEO and Search traffic is superior to social media traffic. it is superior to display ad traffic. the only traffic sources I prize more are email clicks and retargeting ads. both, by definition, are already familiar with your brand.
Of course, no traffic source will be successful if you don’t have a formula for bringing these visitors into your site and for getting them to act.
You touched on this in our first interview, but could you elaborate on how “The Conversion Scientist” handle/brand came about?
I’m formally trained as a Computer Scientist, but went into the sales and marketing game early in my career. in 2003 I created an open source analytics package that I used as a corporate marketer until Google Analytics came along.
When I decided to start my own practice, there wasn’t a good title for someone with my skills, experiences and neuroses, so I had to invent one. I became “The Conversion Scientist.”
The lab coat wasn’t far behind.
It really is accurate. as you will learn from the book, the scientific method is a part of everything we do. We are the most accountable marketing consultants you’ll ever find.
Why do you think online marketing is so difficult?
Online marketing is difficult because there are thousands of ways to do it. There’s email, content marketing, social media, blogs, SEO, PPC, search, display ads, remarketing, retargeting, enewsletters, online video, ratings and reviews, etc.
For each of these, there is an expert telling you that their way is best.
What should YOUR business invest in? How would you know with so many opinions crowding your mind? How does a general business person or marketer make such decisions about often advanced online technologies?
You’ve got to know your numbers. You’ve got to know how to know what works. then you do that over and over and stop doing the things that fizzle.
This is the only way. make a hypothesis, figure out a way to test it, test it, and then look at the results objectively. You will find your magical recipe and profit in the process.

Ahead of its BrightonSEO Conference on 14th September, BrightonSEO organisers have conducted a salary survey amongst 378 professionals in the search engine optimisation (SEO) industry. the findings have revealed that for many roles outside of London including those for founders and MDs, the best salaries are to be found in Brighton – renowned for being a hub for entrepreneurial digital agency activity.
The highest salaries for three of the roles were found in London with head of department at £80k; manager £60k; and executive at £40k. however, the largest salary for a managing director/founder was found in Brighton with a salary of £200k. the highest paid trainee was found in Manchester – with the same salary as the highest paid executive in London.
The survey also found that experienced in-house and freelance consultants earned more than their equally experienced agency colleagues – their salaries not reflecting their breadth of knowledge and understanding of the industry. in fact, the survey results also showed that freelancers make more money for each year of experience they have than those working in agencies or at other companies.
Core pay benchmarks established – the core SEO Executive and SEO Management roles throughout the UK vary the least. With the exception of one management position in London earning in the region of £40k, the same roles across the country can expect to be paid around the £30k mark, whilst all executive roles are paid between £20k – £25k.
The results show that 25 per cent of trainees are paid higher than the average salary for an executive in an agency.
Therefore, and perhaps unsurprisingly, executives are least satisfied with their salaries, whilst freelancers and managing directors/founders are most satisfied ahead of those in management positions. Those who earn between £51k-£75k are more likely to be satisfied with their level of pay than those who earn more.
This survey gains a fascinating insight into salaries paid in the SEO industry which I’m sure will lead to some interesting debate prior to and during the next BrightonSEO Conference. our industry is one of much growth and expectation over the past decade and this is only going to continue in the future. It will make for interesting reading whether, when we conduct this survey again, salary figures reflect this industry growth in the future.
I also like to think that the average salary figures found in this survey demonstrate Brighton’s credentials as being the digital epicentre in the UK, attracting the very best talent the SEO industry has to offer.
The beauty of the conference is that it doesn’t dictate to visitors, tell them how they should do things and then send them away with an armful of literature they’ll never read. It’s a debate about SEO and Search campaigns in order for companies and individuals to discover the best ways of digital marketing for them. That’s why it has become so popular and that’s why we can’t wait to welcome so many people to Brighton in September.
The next BrightonSEO conference will be held on 14th September at the Brighton Dome and will once again bring together some of the leading speakers from the search marketing industry, drawing in a crowd which will include industry professionals from around the world. TORONTO: Novak Djokovic endured a second frustrating day of rain delays with the top seed defeating fellow Serb Janko Tipsarevic 6-4, 6-1 on Saturday to reach the final of the Toronto Masters

Djokovic will take a 6-1 record into his final with Frenchman Richard Gasquet, who defeated John Isner 7-6 (7-3), 6-3, with the American later withdrawing from the Cincinnati Masters with a bad back.
SEOs have a high demand for business websites because they improve their overall visibility on various search engines. many benefits can be pulled when hiring such companies for a website. This article discusses those benefits and weighs the importance of having a good optimization provider to work on your site.
Numerous benefits could be derived when you let experts optimize your website. Such as:
• Increase in targeted traffic. Local internet marketing services can increase the number of people that come to your website. And for any business owner, everyone is a potential buyer. many methods are employed by them to increase the traffic inflow for a website; ranging from keyword density to HTML revisions. These are all effective in producing traffic and subsequently increasing the profit of the website.
• Increase in visibility. When a website has undergone optimization, it will most likely show up in the immediate pages of search results. being visible on top of the search pages allows many visitors to click on your website. However, search engines have devised complex algorithms to further screen the quality of the website. The Panda Update, which was made by Google, serves as a computerized rating system for websites. This allows them to inspect the overall quality of the website and decide how it compares to the different websites.
• Increase in Return of Investment. When visitors turn into buyers at a regular basis, you expect that your ROI is faster; saving you from the initial risks of the business industry. If good visibility and traffic is attained, visitors will be able to find your website fast. This allows them to be potential customers, and when they are attracted to the content and the products or services that you offer, it will definitely produce a successful transaction.
• Cost-effective. Local SEO services don’t require a high compensation for your website’s optimization. Additionally, whatever you pay them would be compensated by an increase in your visibility which could then increase the rate of your ROI. However, it is best that before hiring a provider, you have to check the reviews as well as its standing compared to other companies. This assures you that your money is not wasted with bogus companies that offer unscrupulous methods for optimization.
• Measurable. Lastly, the results and changes after the optimization can be effectively measured using positioning reports. This, also, is available from optimization companies; providing you with accurate measurements of current your website’s online positioning. it is vital for a business site to review the metrics that cover the process because this could determine future actions on whether further optimization is required or the target traffic and visibility is reached.
When online businesses are sprouting everyday in the internet, it is important that they are able to gain an advantage with their competitors. SEO allows them to increase their visibility, thus, increasing their lead against other online sites that sell or provide the same service as they do.

This is how users perceive search engine ads
According to the OVK online report, last year saw expenditure on keyword marketing in Germany rise by eleven per cent to its current level of some €2 billion. however, according to information from the Bundesverband der Digitalen Wirtschaft (BVDW – German Association for the Digital Economy), the Online-Vermarkterkreis (OVK – Circle of Online Marketers) within the BVDW makes no distinction between expenditure on search engine optimisation (SEO) and that on search engine marketing (SEM).
Yet it would be interesting to know the difference, because if you take seriously an Eye-Tracking study conducted by Search Engine Land, the American SEO/SEM magazine, the question must be raised if search engine marketing is still worthwhile?
The answer is yes – under particular conditions. those conditions being that the advertisement is displayed directly above the organic search results. Whereas a glance with the eye-tracking camera at the keyword ads in the right-hand sidebar reveals that users just aren’t interested.
Go for the middle
70 to 80 per cent of Internet users ignore the keyword ads listed there. Search Engine Land has returned these findings with both Google and Bing. this insight is not particularly new, but the values are so high that the whole area really needs to be given careful consideration.
Nonetheless, specialists continue to consider SEM a justifiable strategy. By way of example, Fabian Haubner, Head of Marketing, PR and Sales at bloofusion, sees its usefulness as follows:
“As long as you can continue to use Google AdWords to reach customers in a cost-effective manner, I don’t see any reason to stop using it. Moreover, AdWords ads are a good way of generating short-term success, particularly for small online retailers. Because SEO successes, particularly in a highly competitive environment, are often difficult to achieve and take their time to come about.”
At the same time, Haubner also recognises the urgent need to adapt SEM strategies to the usage habits of consumers.
“The intensity of competition and associated complexity has of course increased in the Google AdWords environment, which is why companies should really take care to ensure that their campaigns are optimised for cost effectiveness. If this doesn’t happen they run a serious risk of throwing away a lot of money in a very short space of time. this is why I recommend that all online retailers get professional help from agencies, either in the form of a one-off workshop or a complete support package.”

In today’s modern world it has become a necessity for every business to have an online presence. now even traditional brick and mortar companies have their online stores because of the increasing demand to reach out to a global market. Staying within one geographical location is no longer profitable. Companies are competing vigorously for the same market segments and to compete in such a tough competition it is really important that all companies have their own internet presence as well. there are lots of new companies joining the industries that solely are profiting on the basis of their internet stores. all these companies are competing on the internet through one mode and that is known as SEO.
SEO is the backbone of doing business on the internet. You cannot expect your products or services to sell until you invest in SEO. this is why the trend of SEO outsourcing is constantly on the rise. it is hard for each online company to have their own SEO specialists, especially when it comes to newly set up businesses. For such companies, it is more cost-efficient that they go for outsourcing, so that they can effectively compete with other brands that are targeting the same market segment they are going after.
When it comes to doing business on the internet the best way to gain more recognition is by having your webpage score a link on the very first results page of all major search engines. when anyone from within your target pool searches for something relevant to the services or products you are selling on any search engine, your website’s link should be amongst the very first to be shown by these search engines. this is what can be achieved through a solid outsourcing company. These companies know all the tricks and tips on how to maximize your outcome by providing SEO outsourcing in a more professional and expert manner. having your own SEO consultants is never as efficient as the results you will attain through SEO outsourcing.
When you go for SEO outsourcing you get services from people who are always up-to-date on the business of SEO and know all the latest trends and techniques that are being applied in the current market. this helps you get the latest and strongest SEO outsourcing as compared to having someone work exclusively for your company. another benefit that you get from outsourcing is a more cost-efficient solution. Hiring your own SEO consultant is always more expensive than outsourcing. this means that if you choose SEO outsourcing you will not only be getting a cheaper solution but will also be getting more efficient results. SEO outsourcing is quite affordable and even newly setup and startup companies can benefit from these services.
Considering the high demand in outsourcing, the number of companies that are offering such services is constantly increasing in the market. this means more and more competition for them. That is why these SEO outsourcing companies are now offering cheaper and cheaper packages with more quality results so that they can score more and more clients. this is a direct benefit for all those online businesses that are looking for SEO outsourcing that is of good quality while also adjustable within their tight budgets. when looking for outsourcing companies you should always have a good look at the package they are offering. having some basic knowledge yourself is always advisable. this is important because it will help you understand which outsourcing company is offering you a better set of services as compared to another.
(3BL Media) August 28, 2012 – with the newly adopted national mileage standard of 54.5 miles per gallon by 2025 making the headlines today, top business leaders are eager to weigh in with the media on how the standard will positively impact the U.S. economy and the U.S. auto industry. new jobs and strong car sales tied to robust fuel standards are already in evidence from Michigan to Indiana to other Midwest states.
THEIR TAKE: U.S. automakers are today seeing growing consumer demand for fuel-efficient vehicles and it’s already leading to new jobs and stronger profits. in the long term, U.S. automakers can expect to see an increase in extra profits to the tune of $2.44 billion dollars as well as 300,000 additional vehicle sales in 2020. the new standard is also projected to drive investment and innovation in the U.S. and worldwide auto industry, while creating 484,000 new jobs in the U.S. economy wide.

Ceres created the Investor Network on Climate Risk, whose 100 members manage more than $10 trillion in collective assets, and include major institutional investors as BlackRock, Deutsche Asset Management, TIAA-CREF, and public pension funds in California, Florida and new York.
Lubber recently noted in a column in Forbes.com:
“ Automakers know that offering buyers a wide range of cars and trucks that go farther on a gallon of gas is good for sales and profits in the United States and around the world. And when the rubber meets the road on the 54.5-mpg standard, they better be ready—or they’ll be left behind.”

CAROL LEE RAWN is the transportation policy expert at Ceres, which collaborated with Citi Investment Research and with Management Information Services to conduct two independent studies of the likely economic and jobs effects of higher fuel economy standards.
Ceres collaborated with Citi Investment Research on Fuel Economy Focus: Industry Perspectives on 2020, which projects the impact that the new U.S. Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions program would have on auto manufacturers and their suppliers in 2020.
More Jobs Per Gallon: How Strong Fuel Economy/GHG Standards will Fuel American Jobs, produced by Ceres with Management Information Services, projects that stronger standards will lead to greater economic and job growth, both within the auto industry and in the broader economy as a whole.
Based on the Ceres and Citi reports, Rawn concludes that:
“Strengthening the national fuel economy standards will create a rising tide that lifts all boats. Car companies and their suppliers will see greater profits and sales. Consumers will save money at the pump. Employment will rise and boost the larger economy. And the U.S. will gain a greater share of the world’s rebounding automotive business.”

As a top investor, Green notes:
“By requiring carmakers to hit an average of 54.5 miles per gallon by 2025, the proposed standard will provide exactly the kind of long-term policy certainty that investors loves. as a long-time investor in innovative car technologies and companies like Tesla, I can attest to the fact that a strong standard would unlock investment and innovation, create jobs, and spur economic growth, in the automotive sector and beyond.”
